Ok...on to card details! The stamp is by Stamps Happen...I guess it's actually supposed to be a robin....but I didn't realize it until after I colored it...Oops! Oh well....I think he turned out ok as a *blue bird!* I colored him with alcohol based markers. Thanks for taking a peek!!

This is the first challenge over at http://www.embellish-online.com/. There is also a layout there for a scrapbook page using a similar layout. We're aiming for weekly challenges....so come on over and play along!!
Since I'm a newbie at this blogging thing....and I'm half way to 500 hits....it's blog candy time!!! Here's what you need to do:
Post your challenge card or scrapbook layout in the gallery at http://www.embellish-online.com/ AND leave a message on this post telling me that you did so I can check out your creation! I will have my son draw a name on Friday night, November 30th. I'm ordering some of the fun Basic Grey Rub-ons and I'll send two packages of my choice your way.....so come and play!!!! Good Luck!
Card details: The crisp black and white colors of the sketch just were too cool to change much! I stamped the stag from Basic Grey's Winterland clear set (http://www.embellish-online.com/) in white craft ink on black cardstock. Metallic paper was run through the script Cuttlebug folder (http://www.embellish-online.com)....so/ cool! A little red sticker by Stampendous! adds a little bling. Believe and the frame around it are by Impression-Obsession.

Today is a special day for me, I've just been notified that I've been selected as a design team member for http://www.embellish-online.com/. I'm totally thrilled to be able to contribute my work using their products to their gallery and working with the other design team members.
A little about me. I'm a SAHM of a 1 year old dd and a 5 year old ds. I've been stamping for the last 15 years and am totally addicted to all things paper related, but please don't save me!!! Stamping is my sanity saver....it keeps my mind occupied and gives me satisfaction to create *something* out of a pile of fun supplies. I teach stamping workshops and love trying new techniques and like a variety of styles. I've been published several times and look forward to submitting more work to be considered for publication. I'm a night-owl....so if you're up late creating, chances are I am too!!
I'm new to blogging....so bear with me as I learn the ropes. I'm looking forward to getting to know more people through blogging, so pop in with a comment any time... I'd love to hear from you!
This is a fun peek-a-boo shaker card. There is prisma glitter in between acetate taped to the frame back and the acetate taped to the card front. The frame and card are separated by a layer of foam tape. The slide mount is attached by glue dots on the corners. The ribbons are wrapped around the frame and tied with metallic embroidery floss to avoid added bulk.
Snowflake Stamp: Stampin Up! stamped in black Stazon
Tiny Snowflakes: Hampton Art Stamps
Card, Frame, Slide Mount: The Paper Cut, Appleton, WI
Metal Sentiment: Lasting Impressions

Satin Edged Ribbon: Offray
