The ribbon is by Offray. The alphabet is by My Sentiments Exactly! and is one of my favorites.
Nothing fancy...but very striking.

Now for the glee part....I'm counting down to July 15th! I'm headed to Milwaukee to be Copic certified! I love the alcohol markers and look forward to learning all I can about them!!! Happy Birthday to me.....and anniversary.....and, and, and..... Anyone else heading down for that?!

Thinking of You Cutie Pie!

One more quick card using the Priceless set by SU! This one uses the Cutie Pie designer paper collection. I used Vinyard Berry ink by CTMH and So Saffron for the butterfly and flower images. I love the Dotted Swiss Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, it adds some fun *pop* to the card.
The border on the left is made by taking the SU! slit punch and punching around each flower on the sheet of designer paper. I doodled the pieces with a black pen and added the Stampendous! sparkle dots for fun. This card is inspired by one by maryetim I saw on SCS.....check it out here.

Several of you have mentioned that you like the flower cards the best...and to be honest, I do too. I'm working on some for the EIO design team gallery that opens on June pretty soon I can share those too!

Sending you Smiles!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend. We were out of state for the weekend....and it feels good to be home again. This is a very simple card using the Priceless butterfly, slit punch and Cutie Pie designer paper collection from SU! I stamped the butterfly in Brocade Blue ink (SU!) on the blue designer paper and then stamped it again on white cardstock and cut it out. I attached the butterfly in the center only so he flutters. The sparkle dot stickers are by Stampendous! The saying is by Printworks! Flower is by Prima abnd the base cardstock is Brocade Blue (SU!) The yellow frame is from a local business called The Paper Cut. I hand doodled on it for added interest. Looking forward to getting back to my stamping desk!!

Guava Wishes....

Thanks for all of your's been fun reading all of your comments.....and I'm still working on the 10,000 if you haven't yet, go comment on the blog candy post!! I need to figure out how to keep it up on top until the winners are drawn...and Maria sent me directions....but oh, which pile did I put them in for to find real easy-like when I *needed* them next! LOL!

The card is SU!....I've been working with the Priceless set this week. I ran the designer paper through the cuttlebug and then sanded it and faux stitched it. The green swirl is inked in Certainly Celery ink and then I colored some of the swirls with the Always Artichoke marker.
The flowers are stamped in Coral and then I used the Pretty in Pink marker to shade the solid center flower. Finally I overstamped the tiny flower in coral and added a pink EK Success crystal. The butterflies are stamped in Rose Red on vellum and are attached in the center only so the wings flutter. Flowers are popped up with foam tape. I pierced around the River Rock oval punch and distressed the white flower panel. Thanks for stopping by!!

Soft Sky Delight

One more *inspired by* card.....I just love the way this one turned out. The inspiration piece was by cullenwr on SCS.

I used Soft Sky for my base. Designer paper is from SU!'s Fall Flowers collection. The ribbon was a gift from my SBS2 blogging sister Lori! The white punch is by Martha Stewart. I used the Dove blender pen and Temping Turquoise marker (SU!) to color the flowers. I also used the Copic Spica glitter pens on the flowers. I used the Dotted Swiss Cuttlebug Embossing folder on just the top portion of the card for a fun look! Thanks for stopping by!!

Delight in Life!

I spend today working with the Delight In Life SU! set....I'm finally getting it inked up after looking at it for a LONG time! I've got a whole PILE of sets here to get inky.....but it might take me a little bit to get this one out of my system!!

This card was inspired by this one that I ran across in stampinsista's SCS gallery. I love her off-kilter circles!

The base is a scalloped panel from Archiver's. I punched the 1/8 inch holes around the edge. The designer paper is SU!'s Fall Flowers Designer Paper....yes, these were the first cuts! I'd best get using this stuff before the new catty comes out and tempts me!! I cuttlebugged the Very Vanilla circle after stamping the sentiment in black ink. Flowers are simply stamped on the coordinating papers and cut out. Prima flowers and Making Memories brads complete the card.

The top flower's brad goes through all of the layers....the top two layers are attached and they swing on the brad that is in an 1/8 inch hole, so you can write your message on the green scalloped piece.

One Last Mother's Day Card

This was one last card I made for a friend for Mother's Day. It's definately not traditional....but is striking none the less. The black flower is a rub-on by Basic Grey. I put it onto acetate and then flipped it over and glittered the clear portion with Art Institute Glitter. The Happy Mother's Day is by Printworks. Paper is by Basic Grey, Gypsy Collection. The base cardstock is Core'dinations. The rub-on is cut out and attached by Glue Dots. The punched corners are by EK Success.

Another graduation bella....colors are black and white...but I decided to add the pops of red for fun. The DP is Deja Views from the Flurries & Frost collection. I used the SU! punch to make it look like notebook paper. Spica glitter pens add a bit of sparkle to the roses, tassel and her collar. Prima flower, Dress it Up glitter dot. Congrats is by SU! ....I still love that old set's font!
Hope all the Mothers have a great day tomorrow!

Sending you Smiles!

oooh....I'm loving this Lizzie Anne set....but then I'm a *flower girl!* This one got very pink. I stamped the flower in Tim Holz Worn Lipstick ink on SU!'s Pretty in Pink Cardstock. Then I took my Dove Blender pen and lighlty shaded the outer portion of the flower. I took a clear Copic Spica glitter pen and highlighted the centers of the outer petals. I highlighted the inner portion of the flower with the Dove blender pen as well. The base of the card is Regal Rose (SU!) The pretty in pink panel and the white panel are stamped with a coordinating flower in Worn Lipstick as well. I ran the white piece throught the Cuttlebug Script folder and faux stitched in black ink. Ribbon is May Arts, flowers by Prima, glitter dots by Dress It Up! Sending you smiles is by Printworks.

Bloom With Abandon!

This card features a HUGE rub-on by Basic Grey. I put it on an acetate circle. Then I cut out various flowers from a sheet of Basic Grey designer paper from the Gypsy line and glue-dotted them on the back of the acetate. It looks really nifty in person with the designs peeking through the rub-on. I did the leaves with the glitter and acetate technique for some extra bling. Then I attached tape behind the flowers and attached it to the scalloped circle I got at Archiver's. The small circles are punched from the same designer paper and then glue-dotted around the edge. This also serves to hold the acetate piece down. It's a very bright card.....but I'm getting in the mood to go flower shopping....that's my excuse!!! *grin!*

Mothers Day Maya Road Style

The flower stamps in this card are by Maya Road. I stamped them in Versamark ink and then chalked them with chalks from Pebbles Inc. Then I ran the piece through the cuttlebug script folder. I love the soft feminine look I got with this! The Mother's Day stamp is by Printworks, ribbon by Offray, gems by EK Success. Thanks for stopping by!

The medallion stamps are from Basic Grey's Insignia set. The happy birthday is by Stamps in Motion. Base layer is Night of Navy (SU!) The little rectangles are 1/2 x 3/4 inches and are attached with mounting squares. The glitter dots are by Dress it Up! Happy birthday is stamped in Night of Navy.

Happy Mothers Day 2!

Today is the opening of the design team gallery at EIO. This month's theme is Mothers and May Flowers. If you have a few minutes to be inspired, pop on over and tell us what you think!!

The base of this card is Bazzil cardstock. I took a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock (SU!) and stamped it with flower stamps from Maya Road in Versamark ink. Then I took chalks (Pebbles Inc) and applied them, making the flowers *pop.* Next I ran the panel through the Script Cuttlebug embossing folder. Then I took a Creamy Caramel inkpad (SU!) and applied it direct to paper to the raised script. Finally I lightly sanded the writing before splitting the panel into 3 pieces, faux stitching each piece and then distressing the edges of each.
Flowers are by Prima, flower punch by Martha Stewart, vintage buttons, letter brads (JoAnn Fabrics), Making Memories jumbo pebble brad, May Arts ribbon.

No Winter Lasts Forever...

I love this appropriate for our WI weather!! We saw snow flurries Saturday on our way to the Sayner Stamp Convention. I taught make-n-takes for The Stamp Shoppe. We featured Copic, Memory Box, Lizzie Anne Designs and Stamping Bella products. They went over very well....and we had fun making up the sample cards!
