If you are blog hopping, and have arrived from Amy's blog, you are in the right place!! If not, you will want to start at the beginning and visit Nicole's blog so you don't miss a thing!

Today's set is all about Flowers! There are three sizes and shapes of flowers, and three styles of each, including text, music, nature and masculine. There is one floral circle image that will fit the sentiment. Two other images included a tiny ship and some music bars.
I chose the music flowers...and stamped them on designer paper. I chose papers from Girls' Paperie. I used the circle tag and a different setiment from yesterday's Dreamy Dragonflies set.
For my leaves and the corner adornments, I cut a flower that I stamped on green designer paper to resemble leaves! I love that I will now have prima-style flowers that can be as different as the papers I stamp them on!
You next hop stop is Angelica's blog...and the letter you need to take with you today is E!
Once again, if you haven't checked out my blog candy won't want to miss it!

Secret Message Valentine

This week's sparkle challenge at The Rubber Cafe is right up my aisle! I *love* playing with glitter! I couldn't resist using my Mini Jar again...I stamped the jar and lid on BoBunny designer papers and cut them out. This time I did not use acetate at all for my jar. I stamped the Heart Trio and then covered them with glue and glitter.

The lid of my jar opens to show another message:
This card I made as a flat panel card. The jar lid opens to show the I Love You message, and you can write a personal message on the inside of the jar flap. to close the lid, simply tuck it under the Happy Valentine's Sentiment.
We hope you join us on this challenge!!

Prickley Pear Blog Hop Release Party ~ Day 1 ~ Dreamy Dragonflies!

If you are blog hopping, and have arrived from Amy's blog, you are in the right place!! If not, you will want to start at the beginning and visit Nicole's blog so you don't miss a thing!
Today we are sharing some of the new Prickely Pear stamps that will be released at CHA 2011!

This clear set features 13 stamps. There are four different dragonfly images in the set featuring flowers, text, music and a basic dragonfly. There is also the lovely tag image that I stamped my sentiment in as well as 3 different sentiments and the word *you* to make each one more personal! There are some antennae and a ladybug image as well. The die that coordinates with this set includes the dragonfly as well as the you it makes cutting them out a breeze!
For my card, I stamped the dragonfly on white cardstock randomly to make a subtle background. I then ran the panel through the Victoria Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and added some faux stitching and distressing.
My dragonfly is stamped on acetate and is glittered for an irridescent effect. For this technique I did not use the die, but if I were using cardstock I could have.
Check out that circle die! It perfectly frames my sentiment tag! LOVE! I further framed the sentiment by using the smallest of the Little Stacker Scallop Circle Nesting Dies by Dies Direct. I punched a smaller circle in each one to make a larger lacey border!
Your next stop on the Dreamy Dragonflies hop is Angelica's blog! The letter you need to take with you is M ~ thanks for hopping by!
You also might want to check out this post....there is more sweetness being offered from me!

Endless Creations!

There will be another post tonight...sharing Prickley Pear's new release!! C'mon back!!
I'm excited to share that I've been asked to make some samples for Endless Creations! Their stamp style is fresh and clean, and I was able to make a whole pile of fun cards in no time! I will share two today...and more in the coming days!
This friendship card features the Daisy Heart Solid, which I stamped three times and cut out. To get this watercolored look, I scribbled some markers onto an acetate sheet, sprayed with water, inked my stamp and it gives you a really water-colored image. No two hearts will come out the same....but that is the beauty of the technique! I popped my hearts up on foam tape, and made sure they were touching, since that is what the Friendship sentiment made me think of!

This card background features the Daisy Swirl Reverse/Lg stamped in white ink on black cardstock. I stamped the Daisy Swirl/Lg as my focal image with Chalk ink on white cardstock, it has a lovely matte finish that matches my cardstock.

I stamped the Earth Has No Sorrow/Sm sentiment, matted it on black, and popped it up on foam tape.

If you haven't yet, be sure you check out the Fred, She Said Blog Hop and the Blog Candy being offered...busy week here on the blog...with lots of inspiration and goodies!!

The image comes both pre-colored and black and white, so your coloring options are endless! I've posted two other pre-colored versions of her this week...she's so adorable!

For this card I followed the Card Patterns Sketch. I used elements from my designer paper for the scallops along the top and changed the circle element to an oval. Fun sketch ladies!!

Inky Antics CHA Sneek Peek ~ Bazooples!

Today's post is a Sneak Peak of some of my cards that will be displayed in the booth for Inky Antics at CHA 2011!

Excerpted from Jackie's Inky Antics blog post:

Vicki is the creator of the adorable BaZooples characters. BaZooples stands for Baby Zoo People...because animals are people, too, as she says! It all started in 2006 with Gertrude, the cuddly giraffe who watches over all of her friends:

Gertrude and the rest of the BaZooples gang have been featured on party goods, home decor, baby clothes, fabric, buttons…and now as Inky Antics rubber stamps!

Gertrude will be available as a wood mounted stamp (2034K) with the coordinating saying 6807E Long Time or in a clear stamp set (11032MC BaZooples #1 Clear Set).

Elsie likes to give big snuggly hugs, in addition to birthday wishes:

The wood mounted stamp is 2064J, and the saying is 5905G Never Forget. (The corresponding clear set is 11033MC BaZooples #2 Clear Set.) Oh, and there's 4003C Bosco in the upper left corner and 2932C Bongo in the lower right corner!

I love the look on Clarence's face and the encouraging saying on this beautifully detailed card:
The wood mounted stamp is 2063J, and the saying is 8870F Over The Hump. Or you can find them both in 11035MC BaZooples #4 Clear Set.

The little Flutterbug named 4005C Bumper is hovering over 6009F Humphrey:

The sayings are 4720D Love You Tons and 9022F Still Around. Humphrey and both sayings also appear in 11034MC BaZooples #3 Clear Set.

All of our new Spring '11 releases, including the BaZooples you see here plus more of their pals, will be available on our main Inky site starting February 6th.

Thank you Jackie for the kind blog post....I can't wait to share the rest, and will as soon as I can!

If you did not see yesterday's may want to check it out! I have lots of lucious blog candy to share as well as the pile of eye candy you saw today! Lots more CHA goodness coming up real soon....more Inky Antics and Prickley Pear's new releases!

I Love You THIS Much!

Happy Tuesday!! Natascha is our hostess for the Digital Tuesday Challenge and she created a fabulous sketch for us!
You may create anything you like, just be sure to use something digital on your project, this can be your image, sentiment, paper etc., and follow the sketch. You may rotate or flip it to fit your needs, as long as the given sketch is still recognizable.

Our sponsor this week is

Stamp Fairy

and the winner gets to choose 3 digistamps from their store. Be sure to check them out, so many cuties to choose from!!

For my card, I used a beautifully pre-colored image from a set called I Love You This Much! by Fred, She Said Designs. In my design, the image is digital, it is digitally colored, the sentiment is digital and the paper is a digital freebie called Pink and Mellow from Tracey-Lynn at Fred, She Said Designs!! All I did was add some fun glittery touches and it looks like the spendy glitter paper you can buy. My final touch was a few flowers and gems.

We hope you can join us for the challenge! Good Luck!

Sketch Saturday Hugs!

This is my second post today, so scroll down to see an adorable Stampavie card! I used the sketch from the Sketch Saturday Blog for this card.

I used an adorable pre-colored image from a set called I Love You THIS Much from Fred, She Said Designs. I cut her out with a Spellbinders die and then glittered the embossed edge with Art Institute's Pearl glitter.

I used Cuttlebug's Victoria Embossing Folder on the white, and the SU! embossing folder on the Crumb Cake panel. Hugs is a digital sentiment that comes in the set. I used SU! punches and May Arts ribbon. I hope she makes you grin....she does me!

This image also comes black and white if you wish to make your own colored version.

Happy Monday! I'm back after a brief blog break, thanks to all who left a note of condolence, I appreciate it!

One thing I love is pretty paper, and this Bo Bunny Sophie Rae paper is beautiful stuff! I used the pink side as my card front, and I cut out elements from the reverse side to make embellishments for my card. I added a touch of dimension by using Cuttlebug's Victoria Embossing Folder.

I've not forgotten the blog candy for reaching 100 followers, I'm gathering it up and will be posting it soon! a special thank you to those who actually leave comments on my blog...I will be giving away two separate gifties to a lucky two of you! With Love

Today I'm sharing a card that I hadn't planned on sharing today...but we lost my grandma this afternoon, and I just needed tonight to remember and be thankful for all of the special times we shared. I'm not sorry for the hugs we shared or memories we made...hug someone you love today and tell them you love them while you can!!

This card is one I made using a new stamp set that I just received from This set is called Fancy Accents SDS stamp set, and it is made to go with the Spellbinder's Fancy Tags Dies. The red swirled rectangle/oval frame is from this set which contains 9 compatible shapes and 6 comptatible sentiments. I'm going to LOVE this set!
I used a Stampavie image and colored it with Copic Markers. The designer paper is from Bo Bunny's Crazy Love collection. I distressed my image and designer paper with Tim Holtz distress ink, in Walnut Stain.
The glitter circle was punched out of red cardstock, run through a Xyron sticker machine and then glittered with Art Institute glitter.

Glittery Valentine

Well....I've started sorting images laying on my desk by company....and in my bin for The Rubber Cafe I had these 3 heart ornaments leftover from my holiday card making spree with the Ornamental Holiday set. These hearts are perfect for Valentine's Day or an anniversary or wedding with a little modification.

I stamped the images on acetate and snipped off the ornament I have 3 beautifully detailed hearts. I did them up with the glitter and acetate technique with silver, pearl and french kiss glitters.

I finished off my card with paper embroidery and silver embroidery floss.

A Chilly Challenge!

It's Saturday...and the Designed2Delight Design Team has a new challenge up! For many January means snow, cold and/or ice. This week's challenge is to create a Christmas/Winter card/project using:

1. any Designed2Delight image
2. blues & purples (you can also use white and/or black for your neutral)
3. any embellishment that seems "icy" to you...glitter, glossy effects, etc

For my card I chose to do a winter birthday card. I used two images from Faith's store, the Stitched Snowman and the Holiday Circle Labels. I created a shaker card using Barbara Trombley's Vintage Glass Glitter Shards for my *snow*...definately an *icy* embellishment!

I knew I had the perfect designer paper in my scrap bin for this challenge...and a quick run through the embossing folder and a touch of sanding perked it up!

Snowflake die is from SU!, the purple gem from Dress It Up! and Happy Birthday is by Penny Black. I colored my frame with Copic Markers.

There are prizes offered for lucky participants of this be sure to check it out and get in on the fun!

Digital Tuesday - A Vision in White!

It is my week to choose the challenge for the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog!

My challenge to you is to creat a card that is ALL WHITE except for ONE image, which you can color! That means white papers and embellishments too!

I love the fresh feel of a white card....and the delicate detail you can add with textures and such.
I chose a white shimmer paper for my card base. I added a panel that I edged with a Tim Holtz Alterations Edge die: Snow Flurries. I then ran the panel through the SU/Sizzix embossing folder, leaving the snowflake portion out.

I stamped the Pine Cone Collage image from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps on acetate with black Stazon ink and then ran it through the Xyron, applying the sticker to the back of the image. I applied Art Institute's Pearl glitter to the sticker. I ran the sticker through the Xyron again and applied my image to a white mat.

The digital image is the beautiful rose from Faith at Designed2Delight, which a colored with Copic markers and cut out. I popped the image up on foam tape and tucked the stem through a small circle punch that I punched into the frame.

A simple white bow from Martha Stewart seam binding was the finishing touch! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

You Make My Heart Soar!

Today's card is for One Crazy Stamper and uses the new stamp set You Make My Heart Soar from Your Next Stamp! I love the clean simple style of these stamps, they are great to color with Copic Markers! The challenge this month is LOVE....and there is a very nice prize package for one lucky participant....why not give it a shot?! Check it out HERE!

I used the 6x6 Bo Bunny Crush Collection for my designer papers. I punched out some hearts and made my own embellishments. The images are popped up on foam tape.

Little Jar 'O Love!

As soon as I saw these jar images from The Rubber Cafe, I knew I needed to fill it with lots of fun things. In my previous cards, you've seen fruit and love bugs in my jars! Today it's a shakerbox card with valentine candies in it!

I had some thick foam board that I've had around here for YEARS....and since I don't toss stuff...and knew exactly where it was in my piles'o stuff.....I put it to good use here! I stamped the image on the foam board so I had an idea of how large a window I wanted to cut in it.

I added some paper embroidery to the lid and a few beads for fun. I'd love to see what you are filling your jars up with!

Be sure to friend The Rubber Cafe's blog and Facebook pages....there are new stamps coming real soon...and Melissa is the giving sort!!! Good Luck to you!!

Something Old, Something New!

Today's card is for our Designed2Delight Card Ideas challenge. Debbie chose our challenge, and it is a fun one! Here it is in her words:

One of my New Year's Resolutions is to use what I have already on hand. Some of you may have received stamping goodies for Christmas. This challenge is to create a card/project using something you have on hand (possibly hoarding Ü) & use something that is fairly new or maybe never been used (you can use the new image Faith designed for this week for your "new" item if you like Ü). State both the "old" and "new" item when posting.

My new items are the image, Love You To Stitches, which I colored with Copic markers. Also new to me are the paper from BoBunny and the Martha Stewart punches.

Things I've been hoarding you say?! Well...the little red flower was actually a little gifty from said Debbie...and hoard them I have!! The pebble brad from BasicGrey and the heart pin from Making Memories have been waiting for a perfect home as well. The swirls are from a Sizzix die that I have had for a while.

So...with that I leave you....for more inspiration and to join our challenge...please hop on over and check it out HERE!

Fred Says Spring is Coming!

Ok, seriously! I think winter has been here about 2.5 weeks and I just couldn't wait any longer to post a spring-y card! I decided to play with a set from Fred, She Said Digital Designs, the Blue Daffodil Card Front Kit. This image happens to come pre-colored in 3 colors...and in the kit you are given a piercing template, and enough pieces to make 3 cards.

I laid the piercing template over the colored image and did my piercing on a foam mat. Next I cut out the image. Next I cut out one of the ovals, leaving a narrow border and applied it with foam tape to the pierced panel. Finally, I cut out one blossom and one flower center and popped each of them up on foam tape. My card has some dimension!

I layered my pierced panel on a piece of white cardstock that I ran through a SU! embossing folder. The base cardstock is SU!'s Brilliant Blue. My finishing touch is a bow.

I'm sitting here with a heater at my feet and my Ott-Lite on *almost* feels like spring!

A Delightful Latte!

It's chilly here in Wisconsin....great weather to enjoy a warm winter cuppa! I made this set of friendship cards using the Love A Latte set from Designed2Delight and a Starbucks Coffee Mug from last Christmas Season as my inspiration. I just love the sentiments in this set!

Digital Tuesday Challenge: Shop Till You Drop!!

It is Digital Tuesday again...and this week Karen is choosing the challenge for us. She chose a theme this week: Shop till you drop! We would like to see shopping bags, shoes, purses...anything that has anything to do with shopping. It is the perfect time for this challenge since sales are going on everywhere in stores right now.

As always, you can create anything you like, just be sure to include a digi somewhere on your creation. You can use anything digital on your project - image, sentiment or paper!

Our fabulous repeat sponsor this week is My Grafico, and as always they are giving away one digistamp set of winner's choice, as well as a 20% off voucher to be used in their store. Be sure to enter your submission HERE.

I chose to use the Fabulous and Feathered Lou Lou set from Studio 313 Designs for my project this week. This chick was born to shop! She's pre-colored (though a line image is also available) and ready to go in her heels and purse!

My project is a gift card holder...perfect to give to your favorite shopper friend! See the photos below to see the inside of the gift card holder.
This project was actually meant to be given like this...but I decided to add it to the card above so it fits in an A2 envelope. I left the ribbon tails long until it is loaded and ready to give, then I will trim the tails after tying my bow.

The inside has a little flap that securely holds a gift card, mine is red int he photo. I used a sentiment from the Feathered and Fabulous set, and sized it to fit in the SU! punches. I added some Glitter Domes that matched my glitter frame on the front of the card perfectly!

On the back of the card, behind the card I made a smaller glittered panel for my to/from info and placed another setiment from the set which I popped up on foam tape. I used vintage seam binding to close my card.

Studio 313 ~ Charmed, I'm Sure!

It is time for a new challenge with Shawne on the Studio 313 Hot Spot blog!
Be sure to pop on over and see the cards of the other design team members!

Here is Shawne's challenge, in her words:
I happened to notice, while I was out Christmas shopping this year, all of the beautiful and inspiring charm jewelry, not just bracelets, but necklaces piled with charms as well. So, for this months challenge, we'll use that as our creative inspiration and use charms on our cards! (or other projects) Use one, or take it up a notch and pile 'em on like the multistrand necklaces that are so trendy right now!

For my card, I used Shawne's Love Swirls Designer Cake set. I printed the images all out as wallet-sized images for this layout. I sized the pink panel so that it fits perfectly in the punched piece. I cut the cake out, leaving a small white border and accented swirls on the cake and pink panel with a clear Spica glitter pen. My charms I attached to a sheer ribbon which I wrapped around the corner of the card. I love the striped piece as a frame for my sentiment. I added some glittery *diamonds* as a finishing touch.

What Inspires Me To Stamp and The Rubber Cafe

Today's card is for The Rubber Cafe. My card features the Large Jar stamped on acetate with black Stazon ink. I also stamped the Love Bugs in the jar image and applied glitter to the back side of the acetate; reminiscent of fireflies in a jar! Setiment is from the Just My Type set. Papers are from Bo Bunny Crush Collection.
The design team has been asked to share what inspires us to stamp this week! I created the collage above to show you what inspires me to stamp!

I have been stamping for 17 years...I started out in a shoebox when we lived in a tiny one-bedroom apartment as newlyweds. Over the years, my showbox has grown into a hobby I never imagined! What inspires me to stamp is all the stamping goodness that occupies my little corner of our basement family room.

I love flowers! I love ribbons! I love copic markers! I love pretty paper! I love stamps! I love color! I love that I can take all of these things and combine them into something unique! I love that the hobby that relaxes me and keeps my mind busy also makes other people happy when they get happy mail in their boxes! I love it when I can show someone that they can stamp too, or teach them a technique they never knew!

Baby It's Cold Outside! ~ Designed2Delight Challenge

Today is our first weekly challenge on the Designed2Delight Card Ideas blog! Every Saturday we will post new challenges along with inspiration from the design team. There will be lots of fun, prizes and creating goin invite your pals and come and play along with us!!
This is our first "Image from the Attic" challenge. This challenge is to remindy you of some of the wonderful older images Faith has in her store. This week's challenge is to create any card or project using Primitive Snow Angel, Snow Angel, or Stitched Snowman.

One lucky participant will win 3 single images of their choice!

I used the Stitched Snowman for my card. I made this card to coordinate with the Cocoa card I posted Thursday. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. The brown oval behind the snowman has embossed snowflakes in it...though it may be hard to tell from the photo. Very Vintage!
