Raspberry Card Duo!

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!!
I just love these beautiful berries from Tracey-Lynn's Fred, She Said's Blue Jay and Raspberries set!
There are black raspberries and red raspberries!  For  these cards I did a partial cut away of the images and then matted and layered them over an embossed panel.  I just love the simplicity and beauty of these cards!

This card's sentiment is from Wordsworth.
This card's sentiment is from Our Craft Lounge.

Thinking of You Makes Me Smile!

Today I have two cards for you using Endless Creations images.  My first card uses only two stamps!  The designer paper is My Mind's Eye's Stella Rose Collection.   The base card is from The Paper Cut, I used circle punches to frame the existing holes.  I used the scraps to decorate the inside of my card.
For this card I added a coordinating solid flower stamp which I clear embossed on the pink panel before distressing with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I also switched out my verse. This is another window card by The Paper Cut which I embellished with various square punches. I mounted a coordinating square and flower inside my card.

I used gold nailheads and a touch of seam binding as my only embellishments on this card.

Fall Card Duo - Prickley Pear!

Today I have two cards for you featuring Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps ATC Transparencies.

For my first card I used some linen thread to stitch my transparency to my card.  Designer paper is from BasicGrey's Out of Print collection.  I accented with some coordinating cardstock, a SU! embossing folder and a piece of coordinating corrugated cardboard that matched perfectly!
For my second card I ran my transparency through the Xyron sticker machine and then covered the back with some leafing.  It is gorgeously shimmery in real life.  I stamped the Winter is an Etching sentiment in black stazon ink on a piece of coated metallic cardstock.

My image is mounted on a piece of bark paper and corrugated cardboard with a touch of linen thread.

If transparencies are not your thing...you can also purchase the Solid Leaf ATC stamp and stamp it with Stazon on acetate for a similar look.

Digital Tuesday Challenge - Blue and White!

This week's Digital Tuesday Challenge is a color challenge...and the main colors should be BLUE and WHITE!   Stop by the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog to get the challenge and prize details and see the other design team members' inspiration!

I couldn't resist making one more card with the new pre-colored BlueJay image from Fred, She Said Designs.  This card is for those who don't like the real fussy cutting.  I cut the oval sky and image out leaving a border around them and then added a touch of piercing to frame my image.  I popped both my blue jay and my blackberry image up on foam tape for added dimension.  The Cuttlebug folder is my favorite Victoria one.

Family Emergency

I am sad to share that we unexpectedly lost my husband's mother on September 24 in an apparent heart attack.  She was a pillar in our family and faith and will be greatly missed by her husband, four children, two daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, two sisters and many friends.
I will be taking some time for family and will be back soon to share my design team creations and the blog candy offerings.
Hug your loved ones every chance you get and treasure every moment with them!

Blocking Technique with CropStop!

This week's CropStop challenge is to use Color Blocking.  This is a fun way to use up paper scraps!

I used some papers from the Deja View's Dog Days Collection that I had leftover after making two dog mini-scrapbooks.    The stamp set is called Baking Pup Honey Pop and is by Inky Antics.  Be watching the store, I believe Haylie Jo has some Inky Antics sets coming in soon!

I colored my pup and the dog bone with Copic markers and used a touch of paper piecing on his hat and apron.  The Copic Markers I used were:  E49, E44, E43, E42, E41, E08, B45, B41, G24.

The inside of this card features the Honecomb Paper Pads by Inky Antics.  There is a rainbow of colors in the store....just imagine the possibilities!  How cute is this dog bone?!  You can leave the center of the cards white and just add the honeycomb paper element, but I like to coordinate my card interiors!

If I've enabled you....please use my BLOG COUPON CTMP-2 and SAVE 10% on your ENTIRE ORDER with NO MINIMUM PURCHASE!

Fair Fun with Prickley Pear!

Today's card features a transparency from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  These come nine to a sheet and have a variety of images on each sheet.  Check out all of the different ATC Transparencies available!

I simply cut mine out and layered it for this fantastic look.  I had some swirly ivory coated cardstock which I distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Stains in Dusty Concord, Faded Jeans and Broken China.

I attached my transparency with a single swirl brad and a few glue dots that are hidden behind the treeline on the bottom of the image.

I layered my image on an embossed panel - Pocketwatch Texture Fade by Tim Holtz which I distressed with at touch of blue ink.

iCopic Card Set - Tips and Tricks Tuesday

This is one of two posts today, so scroll for more inspiration!!

It's Tips and Tricks Tuesday on the iCopic blog...and my tip for you this week is to think of your sentiment stamps in a whole new way!

How many times have you wanted to say a specific thing, and you don't have the exact sentiment you've got in mind?  It helps to have some of the fantastic SP & Company word sets that mix and match for many options, however I combined two of the sets to come up with sayings that were not in either set!

It's not uncommon to see mixed fonts within a set in a single sentiment, so feel free to mix fonts!  These sets are clear, so it makes it easy to line them up as you desire for a fresh new look!

Also take a peek at your designer papers...I used some glittered designs from a collection of designer paper and made some quick and easy cards.  Perfect to give as a gift or use when you don't have time to color with your Copics!

The sets I used were Candy Hearts and Mix 'n Match Family.  There are other fun sets to add to this to make many more combinations!

Elegant Harvest - The Rubber Cafe

This week's challenge at The Rubber Cafe was to make an elegant fall card.  I decided to go with fall colors and some fruits of the harvest for my card.

I used the Bon Appetit set and colored it with the following Copic Markers: V09, V17, YG95, YG93, E44, E43, E42, E41.
I also used some Candi on this card...I used the Regal Gold on the Spellbinders Beaded Circle Die.  They are flat if you attach them with a Scrap Happy Glue as I did here, or you can pop them up with Candi Fix Foam Pads.

The come in scads of colors...and I used the chocolate color in the Chocolate Cherries set for my flower centers.  You can flip them over for a totally different effect, how fun is that?!

I did a bit of paper embroidery in some gold floss and layered it on an embossed background.  Be sure you Check out the Rubber Cafe Blog for the challenge rules and PRIZE information!  We hope you can play along!
