I have had some Paper Pizazz books around for many years. Some of which have tags and other images that one can cut out and use in layouts or on cards or other paper crafting projects. I have had these tags cut out for years and finally decided to make up some cards using them and some other bits and pieces that pile up on my desk. I love the outcome! The die is by Cheery Lynn Designs, the stamp by Stampin Up!
It's much fun to grab scraps out of my patterned paper bin and combine them to make a fun card. These purple butterflies might be by Stampin Up....they have lived in my bin so long that I no longer know for sure!
I have had these butterfly die cuts in my stash for quite some time....and today I decided to stitch them up as my way of adding a pop of color. I had pink and orange threads in my needles, so that set the color scheme for today's cards. I simply pierced holes around the perimeter of the butterfly die cut and then stitched it up as shown.
This second one I was going to pop a butterfly on the stitched circle...but in the end I just popped the thanks sentiment onto the center.
A few more baby cards along the Clean And Simple line....This first card features an adorable little dress by The Peddlers Pack Stampworks. I colored the image with Copic Markers and then fussy cut the image and popped it up on foam tape. I am not sure of the company of the baby sentiment.
This card features an adorable image by Penny Black and the sentiment is by Purple Onion Designs.
I have been on a baby card kick this week...here are the first two! The first one is done cutting out elements from the Paper Studio's Jung-a-low, Bung-a-low Baby collection. A bit of paper embroidery and paper distressing adds a fun touch to this card.
I made another of these cute cards using the JudiKins image that I colored with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the image and mounted it on a panel that I embossed. The sentiment is a set of snap letters that allow you to create any sentiment you wish!
Hello there! Sorry it's been a bit quiet....tis the season for graduations and end of year activities and we are helping my father-in-law move to our town, so summer is off to a great start!
I have been stamping a bit...and today's cards were inspired by this old Basic Grey collection that I have tons of scraps for. The scraps turned into about 12 paper pieced backgrounds all set for masculine cards.
The first card features a Stampscapes stamp that has been stamped with Stazon ink onto a piece of glossy paper that I did the polished stone technique on for a fun sunset effect. The little fishermen are by Stampendous and the Thinking of You is from Prickley Pear.
This second card features a stamped image that I cut down from it's original state. I simply cut the image in an Out of the Box technique and colored it with Copic Markers. The papers lend a fun beachy feel to the card.
